This cultivar was developed at North Dakota State University, where it outperformed other honeylocust cultivars in winter hardiness. Thornless and seedless, it has a rather upright form similar to Skyline®, and gradually widens with age. This sturdy, vigorous tree is quite drought-resistant as well.
