                        Welcome company before you even say a word! Wreaths are an essential holiday decoration that will last throughout the season.
                        Your holiday guests arrive at your home with a warm hotdish and gift in hand. Ringing the doorbell, they admire your front door adorned with a stunning evergreen wreath. What does it look like? You decide at our holiday wreath workshop!
                        Workshop includes: Fraiser fir base, pinecones, one bow, wire, and decorations.

                        Children must be accompanied by an adult.

                        A world of possibilities is presented by an empty frame. Will you go bold with blues and golds? Or maybe you’ll think pink with pastels. Designing with glitter is always a heavy hitter. Whatever you make, creativity has no mistakes!
                        Workshop includes: 14” brass base, greens, twine, and a variety of accents.

                        Add some holiday style that will last a while!
                        Swags are an uncommon evergreen decoration hung on doors, fences, mailboxes, and walls. Their size is unique from conventional décor as it can be customized to the space they occupy. The teardrop form can be made longer to accentuate a tall area or widened to emphasize a bigger space. A tapered shape works well in any situation to add a touch of cheer!

                        Spruce up your Christmas dinner with this first of its kind workshop. Impress your guests with a live arrangement for your table.
                        We all have our favorite dishes we look forward to having on the Christmas dinner table. Why not add some green to yours? Set the table with cedar, spruce, pine and fraser in your classic centerpiece creation.
                        *Centerpieces should be kept in a cold area until it’s time to serve.
                        Workshop includes: Wood container (12”x 4”x 4”), floral foam, greens, decorations.

                        Welcome back for year three of bonsai club! Baker hosts North Dakota's only bonsai club. Anyone with a curiosity of the art is welcome to join for free to listen and engage with other members. We ask you register to allow us to prepare for guests. Not only will you get a new plant potted up, you also leave with cultural, historical, and care information. We discuss the origins of the ancient art, traditional practices, and modern applications. Our club is focused around tropical species to be kept as indoor bonsai.

                        Included in the paid ticket is 1 6” bonsai pot of preferred style and color, 1 bonsai plant, wire materials, and bonsai soil.

                        Children must be accompanied by an adult.

                        Tired of the same old get togethers or work parties? Private Workshops at Baker Garden & Gift are the perfect event to unleash your creativity and green thumb!

                        Work with our workshop coordinator, Audrey Gilbraith, to plan your perfect workshop event. Choose from seasonal favorites like Spruce Top Containers and Pumpkulents or year-round projects like Terrariums and Fairy Gardens. $50 deposit required to hold date. Deposit price goes towards ticket total. All tickets are to be paid day of class.
