Carnivorous Gardens

Everyone can name the Venus Fly Trap, but can everyone keep it alive? Become a gardener who can at our Carnivorous Garden workshop.

Based on information from the book “Savage Garden” by Peter D’Amato and the lived experience of gardeners, we will teach attendees how to grow these intimidating plants successfully. They can be grown as houseplants or in an outdoor bog garden. With the right light, water, and soil, these can be grown big enough to eat you out of house and home!

Ticket Includes: planter, peat moss, sphagnum moss, distilled water, and 3 2" carnivorous plants of your choice.

If you are interested in learning more about carnivorous plants, RSVP to sit-in just to hear the information! This option does not include materials. 

Policies:

• Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Please register in advance so we can prepare materials.

• For cancellations, email workshops@bakernursery.com at least 48 hours before the workshop for a full refund.

• Tickets are transferable by emailing us.

• Minimum of 6 participants required. If not met, you will be contacted and refunded.
