Closed Top Terrarium

Discover the fascinating history of terrariums as a centuries-old horticultural practice while creating your own self-contained, humid environment where plants can thrive. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll build a terrarium from the bottom up and explore how closed environments allow you to grow tropical plants you can’t grow outdoors. You’ll select from an assortment of tropical plants to design a nearly no-maintenance terrarium.

Ticket includes:

• Two 2" terrarium plants of your choice
• 10" terrarium
• Charcoal and rocks
• Baker Houseplant Medium
• Live moss

Policies:

• If your plans change,  email workshops@bakernursery.com at least 48 hours before the event for a full refund. 
• The minimum attendee number is 6, if a total of 6 people is not reached by the day prior to class, we will contact you to refund.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult.
