Terrariums allow you to grow what you cannot outside of a closed environment. Choose from an assortment of tropical plants to fill your container. Start the year with a nearly, no maintenance plant!

Workshop ticket includes: 1 4" plant of your choice, 2 2" terrarium plants of your choice, charcoal, rocks, Baker blend houseplant media, and live moss

This Hoya Heart makes for an excellent Valentine's Day gift and novelty houseplant. The Hoya Kerrii has the potential to grow from a single leaf to a beautiful plant. All it takes is water and patience!

We will be painting pots with acrylic paint. We will be using the three primary colors, with white to lighten colors. Not only will we be learning about plants but color theory too! We will paint two small terracotta pots. One to put your heart in, one to take home.

Included in ticket: 2, 4” terracotta pots to paint, 1 Hoya Kerri plant, paints, and Baker Blend soil.

MNRC - Recognized for many years as the hardiest pear from the University of Minnesota, released in 1985. Free of fireblight. An annual bearer. Fruit is pyriform in shape, 2.5-3" in diameter and 3-3.5" long. Blooms early in May. The fruit should be harvested in mid-August when crisp and still green with a red blush. Fruit harvested at that time is sweet and crisp, and may be stored up to 2 months. Use either 'Parker' or 'Patten' as pollinator. Height: 12-15' Spread: 8-12' Exposure: Full Sun Zone: 3-8

Fine Line® combines the fern-like foliage of 'Asplenifolia' with the narrow upright habit of 'Columnaris'. May be used to create a narrow hedge or screen, or as an accent specimen or in a patio container. This non-invasive cultivar is a responsible replacement for the older weedy varieties. A university study showed a 3% germination rate, compared to the species which germinated at 98%. Developed by Ron Williams of Scenic View Nursery in Wisconsin. Not for sale in Minnesota.
