Workshop: Bonsai Terrarium

This combo class will take two of our most popular workshops into one easy project! 

Bonsai captures the imagination of many gardeners. But it can prove to be a challenge at any skill level. In this class, we will put a tree in a terrarium to create the perfect environment for it to thrive. With high humidity and carefully controlled watering, even the most difficult of plants can be grown successfully.  

In class we will discuss both bonsai and terrariums. Both are vast subjects so we will be covering the basics. The maintenance and care of a terrarium along with the styling, elements, and history of the bonsai art form. This is the first offering of this class and we are delighted to share this opportunity with you! 

Cost of ticket includes: One 2" pre-bonsai of your choice, live moss, one glass terrarium with metal lid either 7" or 10" in size, horticultural charcoal, decorative rocks, and Baker blend houseplant soil.  

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

If your plans change, please email workshops@bakernursery.com at least 48 hours prior to the workshop time to receive a full refund. Tickets can be transferred to another individual by emailing.

Please note that this workshop has a minimum of 6 participants, so if we do not reach that, you will be contacted by email and refunded.
