Workshop: DIY Moss Poles
Let Your Plants Vine!About this experience
In this class, we will be teaching you how to make a moss pole! Moss poles are used to support various vining plants such as pothos, philodendron, and monstera. We will guide you as you make a pole of your own out of the material you choose. Afterwards, if you choose to buy or bring in your own plant we will be potting them up together using your new pole.
We have two widths of pole available, 1" and 1/2". The larger size is good for thicker stemmed plants like some Monstera or Philodendron. The smaller is great for vining plants like Syngonium and Pothos of any kind. Poles are cut to a 2 ' standard but can be cut to any length. Please contact audrey@bakernursery.com to request a custom sized pvc pipe.
Included with the cost of ticket: moss pole supplies of your choice (pvc, sphagnum moss, coco coir, netting, fishing line, screen). The optional cost of container or purchased plants is separate from ticket price.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
