Each philodendron has slightly different light requirements, but most thrive in bright, indirect light. A good rule of thumb for lighting is the lighter the leaf color, the brighter the light needed (like the Philo Florida Ghost), and the darker the leaf, the lower the light it can handle (like the Philo Cordatum). Most philodendrons are adaptable to all humidity levels. Velvet types of philodendrons (Micans or Melanochrysum) need higher levels of humidity.
