Canada Red Cherry
Canada Red Cherry
Oval to rounded crown. White blossoms bloom r in May followed by dark purple fruit. Suckers.
Resistant to bronze birch borer. Yellow fall color. Cinnamon-brown ex-foliating bark for winter interest.
Prairie Dream Birch
Betula papyrifera 'Varen' PP15,766
Also comes in a clump form. This is one hardy and stress tolerant form of paper birch. Ex-foliating snow white bark and deep green foliage that turns a golden yellow in the fall. Produces catkins that may fall to the ground.
Native to North America it is tolerant to a wide range of soil conditions and air pollution. Slow growing, very durable tree with a beautiful form.
Ulmus americana 'Princeton'
Fast growing and symmetrical branching. Adaptable to extreme fluctuations. Dutch Elm Disease resistant.
Very rapid grower. Can withstand the extremes of urban conditions. Drought and wind resistant. Bark is corky and rough.
Tilia americana 'Redmond'
Largest leaves out of all of the Lindens. Pyramidal in shapes and has glossy light green leaves. Voted in 2000 Urban Tree of the Year by the Society of Municipal Arborists. Bright yellow autumn color.
Tilia cordata 'Greenspire'
1998 Iowa Tree of the year. Straight trunk, fragrant pale yellow flowers and rich dark green foliage. Oval shape and yellow fall color.
Tila x mongolica
Harvest Gold Linden
Developed in Manitoba Canada. Sunscald and leaf spot resistant. Ex-foliating bark, golden buds and consistent fall color.
Northern Acclaim® Honeylocust
Gleditsia tricanthos var. inermis 'Harve'
Developed at North Dakota State University. This fast growing shade tree in a variety of soils, and is tolerant to most city conditions. Fine textured foliage which produces light filtered shade. Fall color is yellow.
Gleditsia triacanthos var inermis 'Skycole'
Distinctive pyramidal form, develops a strong and sturdy trunk. Thornless and essentially fruitless. This tree provides light, filtered shade. Golden yellow fall color and dark green leaves in the summer.
Autumn Blaze® Maple
Acer x freemanii 'Jeffersred'
Hybrid of a Silver and red maple, this tree is a fast grower, drought tolerant and it has the ability to tolerate many different soil types. Fall color is a beautiful orange-red. Oval in shaped and has rich, green and deeply lobed leaves.
Royal Red Maple

Beautiful dense tree that has an oval shape. The foliage is an excellent maroon red all season.
Fastest growing species of American Maple. Leaves have light green on top with silver underneath. Fall color is yellow. Provides medium shade. Has a tolerance for all kinds of extreme conditions.

Slow growing shade tree that remains maroon red all season long. Spring flowers are a maroon and yellow. Straight trunk and oval crown shape make this tree one of a kind.

Prefers moist yet well-drained soil. Leathery, glossy, deep green leaves. Resistant to sun scald and frost cracks. Rapid Grower. Fall foliage more orange and red as compared to other Sugar Maples.
Sienna Glen® Maple

Fast growing and hardy Maple. Withstands more windy conditions then the Autumn Blaze® Maple. A great substitute for Ash varieties. Tolerant of alkaline, acidic and wet soil conditions. Pyramidal in canopy shape. Fall foliage is yellow to orange to red.
Small leaves. Bark is a greenish white. Rounded crown at maturity. Can be found in moist, shallow, rock or clay soils.
Populus deltoides 'Souixland'
Rounded growth habit and is fast growing. Tolerant in most conditions
Fall color range is yellow, orange and red. Greenish yellow flowers in the spring give way to light brown fruit capsules. Leaves are bright green in the summer.
Fast growing tree. Branched limbs are gnarled and twisted. In June long, tube-like white flowers appear in panicles. Fruit is like a peaod.. Very tolerant and adaptable. Fall foliage is yellow-green. Foliage is during the summer is green large and heart shaped.
Disease resistant. Good foliage retention during the summer. Bark is glossy dark red. Fruit does not drop. Flower is red-purple. Shape is spreading becoming rounded. Fruit is maroon.
Upright spreading has deep purple leaves and delicate pink flowers. Resistant to fireblight.
Spring Snow Crabapple

Fruitless. Covered in pink buds that open to a fragrant white flower in spring. Bright shiny green leaves. Great heat tolerance.
Royal Raindrops® Crabapple

Has better summer color then most red-leaf crab apples. Abundant magenta-pink blossoms stand out against the foliage. Good resistance to fireblight. Persistent red fruit.
Thornless Cockspur Hawthorn

Has wonderful white flowers in June followed by small bright red persistent fruit. Can be planted in wet or dry conditions.
Limelight Hydrangea-Tree Form

This small upright rounded tree is perfect for small gardens. Bright light-green flowers in late summer turn to shades of pink, burgundy and green in the fall. Prune in winter or early spring, since this hydrangea blooms on new wood. Foliage is medium green.

Enormous flower panicles are a blends of vanilla and strawberry. Emerge creamy white during mid summer and change to a pink and then finally a strawberry red. The red color lasts for about 3-4 weeks. Great for fresh cut and dried flower arrangements.
Ivory Silk® Lilac

Oval and compact this is a great small flowering tree. Cherry-like bark. Has creamy white flower clusters in early July. Best in full sun.
Dwarf Korean Lilac-Tree Form
Syringa meyeri 'Palibin'
Globe shape form and wonderfully fragrant lilac flower make a great accent plant to any landscape. This plant will bloom late spring to early summer with brilliant shades of pink.
European Mountain Ash
The European Mountain Ash is more compact and is the most disease resistant out of the Mountain Ashes. Will bloom late spring to early summer. The flowers are white with the fruit being red.
Dakota Pinnical Birch

Heat, drought and alkaline soil tolerant. Narrow and columnar growth habit. Bark matures to a yellow white.
